The Paediatric Emergency Department, the only specialist paediatric emergency team in Northern Ireland sees approx. 45,000 children per annum with an undifferentiated case mix. The current team is 7 consultants, 3 specialist doctor, 2 specialist registrars and 10 trainee doctors.
